diuerse monasteries were builded in Ireland, as (beside those that before are mentioned) in the fourth yeare

were raised in Ireland betwixt Hugh Lacie & William Marshall, so that the countrie of Meth was
greeuouslie afflicted. In the yeare of our Lord 1228, after the death of Londores archbishop of Dublin, that
was lord cheefe iustice, king Henrie the third vnderstanding the good seruice doone by the Giraldines euer
