Compare 1587 edition: 1 Many of the Pictes reioyced greately,The picts ſom doe reioyce, and ſome my|ſtruſt of the engliſhe mens aſsiſtaunce. that they ſhould haue ayde thus of the Engliſhmen, hoping therby to haue aſſured victorie of theyr aduerſaries. Other myſtruſted not a little the Engliſhmens offers, by reaſon of the olde enimi|tie betwixt the Pictes and them.
