Compare 1587 edition: 1 For the auoyding of which miſchiefe, by the graue admonition of one Comus, a noble man of the parties of Wales,Caratake cho|ſen to be cap|taine of the Brytaynes. they accorded to ſende Meſſengers vnto Caratake the King of Scot|lande, requyring him to ayde them in their right and iuſt quarel agaynſt Aruiragus and the Ro|maines, whereby hee might reuenge the iniurie done to his ſyſter Queene Voada and hir iſſue,Aruiragus woulde diſen|herite hys owne children which he had by Voada. whome the father throughe counſayle of the Ro|maines purpoſed to diſenherite, to the ende, ſuche chyldren as he had by Geniſſa (for that they were of the Romain bloud) might enioy the kingdome.
