Compare 1587 edition: 1 After long contention, Mowbray hadde the landes adiudged to him by ſentence of the Bal|lyoll, by reaſon wherof, Dauid Cumyn Earle of Athole, and Richarde Talbot, fauouring the cauſe of Henry Beaumont, began to prac|tiſe ſuche conſpiracies againſt the Ballyoll, that to auoyde further daunger, he was glad to re|peale the former ſentence by him gyuen on the behalfe of Alexander Mowbraye, and by newe ſentence adiudged the landes vnto Henry Beau|mounte, for that (as was alledged) he had ma|ryed the inheritour therof.
