A|chaius the ſon of king Ethfin (a man highly renowmed for his erneſt zeale to iuſtice and vpright dealing, was aduanced to the gouernance of the realme: who for that by his former conuerſation amõgſt the nobilitie, he per|fectly vnderſtood what grudge and ſecrete hatred remayned in their heartes, one wiſhing anothers deſtruction.
