Some ſay hee ended his life in his houſe amongſt his bretherne with|in the Iſle of Iona, otherwiſe called Colmekill, EEBO page image 142 but Saint Bede writeth howe hee died in an Iland called Heu, where againe the Iriſhe wry|ters affirme, that he departed in a towne in Ire|land called Dune, and that his tombe is there in great veneration of the people: vpõ the which are theſe Latine verſes engrauen.
