Compare 1587 edition: 1 After this, Occa turned his power agaynſt the Brytaynes, whiche in the laſt battayle had ayded the Scottes and Pictes, as before is partly touched. The Brytaynes receyuing a great ouer|throwe in battaile,The Brytayne ouerthrow in battaile by the Saxons. Vter with|draweth into Wales. London reco|uered by Saxons. Vter the Brytiſhe king was glad with ſuche as mighte eſcape the enimies hand [...], to withdraw into Wales, leauing the re|ſidue of his Countreys vnto the Saxons, who therevpon recouered not onely the Citie of Lon|don, yeelding it ſelfe vnto them for doubt of ſome long ſ [...]ege, but alſo all thoſe countreys and pro|uinces, whiche Hengiſt the firſt of the Saxons that raigned as king within the boundes of Al|bion at any time, had holden or enioyed, & ceaſſed not after recouerie of the ſame, to vexe and diſ|quiet the Scottes, Brytaynes and Pictes, with continuall incurſions, hoping by ſuch meanes to keepe them ſtill occupied.

He died in the yeare after the byrth of our ſauiour 521. and in the xviij. of his owne raigne.521.
