[1] Theſe Ambaſſadours behaued themſelues ſo ſagely in this matter whiche they had in charge, that in the end, they brought it to good concluſiõ: As thus, Firſte it was agreed, that King Iames ſhoulde be ſet at libertie,The raunſome of King Iames and to pay for his raun|ſome, ye ſumme of one hundreth thouſand marks ſterling, the one halfe to be payd in hand, and for the other halfe, to leaue ſufficient pledges behinde him, till it were payde.
