[1] The Ballyol taking occaſion hereof, determi|ned to aſſayle them ye ſame night in their campe: and therevpon cauſing his people to make them readie to accompliſhe that enterpriſe, in the dead of the night he iſſued foorth of his campe, & com|ming vnto the water of Erne, paſſeth the ſame by the foorde, where one Androwe Murraye of Tullybarde had pight a ſtake of ſet purpoſe, in midſt of the ſtreame, to ſhewe them the way.
