'wite wonn' - Early editors took wite as the verb, and read worn, translating 'always I saw the abundance of my miseries'. Now, wonn is taken as the verb and wite as the noun: 'always I suffered the torment of my miseries'. A similar construction is found in Genesis, where wite winnan means 'suffer the penalty'.
