Line 78a

'Woriað' - M-R print the manuscript reading woriað and gloss 'decay, moulder'. This is misleading; worian usually means 'wander'. Translations like 'totter' and 'crumble' are proposed on the strength of this passage and cannot be substantiated elsewhere in the OE corpus. B-D emend to woniað and translate 'crumble away'. M-R appear to want the best of both worlds.
