Healdne is most likely to be acc. sg. of the adjective Īhealdā, meaning Īsloping, inclined or bentā. Although the word order is unusual, healdne his hordcofan would parallel ferŻlocan: Īthat he binds tight his breast and the inclinations of his mindā.
