Here|vpon the church was suspended, and the beginners of the broile, namelie the lord Strange and sir Iohn Trussell knight (betwéene whome such coles of vn|kindnesse were kindled (at the instigation of their wiues,Women full of mischéefe. gentlewomen of euill disposition and at curs|sed hatred one with another) that their husbands ment at their méeting in the said church to haue slaine one another) were committed to the counter in the Pultrie.
