Compare 1587 edition: 1 Lord Darneley is made Duke of Albany.In the moneth of Iuly, the Lord Darnely Earle of Roſſe, was made Duke of Albany, and on Saterday at euen, the eyght and twen|tith daye of the ſame moneth, before the mar|riage,Lord Darneley is proclaymed King. he was proclaymed King by ye Queenes commaundemente at the Market croſſe of E|denburgh, and on the nine and twentith daye of the ſame moneth,The Queene is married. he was married to ye Queene in the Chappell of Holy Roode houſe, at fiue of the clocke in the morning.
