Compare 1587 edition: 1 The Queene of Scottes ſent maiſter Iohn Hay Abbot of Balmerinoch into Englande to the Queene, to mitigate hir diſpleaſure towards the Lorde Darnlie, and to obtaine hir conſent to the marriage, who aunſwered,Ambaſsage ſente into En|glande. that ſhe ment to ſend an Ambaſſador of hir owne into Scot|lande, for that and other cauſes, and according to hir promiſe ſhee ſente one.
