Compare 1587 edition: 1 After this, beeing brought to an open place, where moſte reſort of people was, they crowned him with an hote Iron, for that (as was ſayde) a Witche had tolde him,The prophecie of a Witche. that before hys death he ſhoulde be crowned openly in ſight of the peo|ple. Through whoſe illuſion being deceyued, hee lyued vnder vayne hope to attaine the Crowne, dyrecting all hys ymaginations to compaſſe the meanes thereto. Thus was hee ſerued on the fyrſt day.

Compare 1587 edition: 1 On the ſecond, he was drawne with his com|plyces layde on Hyrdels, rounde about the towne at an horſe tayle.

Compare 1587 edition: 1 The thirde day, hys belly was rypt, and his bowelles taken forth, and throwne in the fyre flickering before hys eyes, and then was hys heart pulled forth of his bodie, and throwne like|wiſe in the fire: and laſt of all, his heade was cut off, and his bodie deuided in foure quarters.
