Compare 1587 edition: 1 Not long after, to his high aduauncement, he got in mariage the Ladie Iacoba Countes of Hollande: Notwithſtanding, he continued but a while with hir, being enforced to forgo hir com|panie, eyther for that ſhe had an other huſband, ei|ther for that the inhabitants woulde not ſuffer a ſtraunger to raigne ouer them.

Compare 1587 edition: 1 After his returne into Scotlande, he ſent meſ|ſengers into Hollande,Warres be|twixt the Erle of Mar and the Hollanders. requyring to haue the iſ|ſues and profites of ſuch lands as were due vnto him in right of the ſayde Counteſſe his wife, but receyuing nought but a frowarde anſwere, hee prouided him of ſhippes, and made ſore warres on the Hollanders by ſea: firſt being put to the worſe, but at length he tooke a nũber of their ſhips laden with Marchandize, as they were returning homewardes from Dantzicke.
