Compare 1587 edition: 1 Not long after, King Dauid called an o|ther Councell, wherein according to hys pro|myſe made to the King of Englande before hys delyueraunce,A demaunde proponed to the Lordes of Scotland. he moued the Lordes and Ba|rons of Scotlande in a matter whereof hee wy|ſhed not to haue of them anye towardlye aun|ſwere, and that was thys: Whether they coulde bee contented, that after his deceaſſe, the crowne of Scotlande ſhoulde bee tranſferred vnto the King of Englandes ſonne, and to hys lawfull heyres.
