Compare 1587 edition: 1 The water hauing once gotten an iſſue, with|in a whyle ware the hole ſo large, that entryng with more violence, it finally brake downe the banke, & ruſhed foorth with ſuch an huge ſtream, that it bare downe all afore it, drowning vp the baſtils and tentes of them that lay at ſiege there,The baſtiles and tentes of them that laye at ſiege drow|ned. and carryed the ſame with men and all downe into the deepe ſea, they were ſo ſodenly taken, ere they could make any ſhift to eſcape.

Compare 1587 edition: 1 Alane Vepount, whẽ the water was fallen to the olde marke, iſſued forth of the caſtel, and ſet|ting vpon thoſe that had eſcaped the daunger of the water, ſlew part of them, and put the rem|nant to flyght.
