Compare 1587 edition: 1 King Edwarde hearing that the gouernoure was comming towards him with an armie, and that himſelfe in perſon quite contrary to his ex|pectation,An heraulde ſent to the gouernour. he ſent an herauld vnto him for meane of communication of ſome peace, as was oute|wardly pretẽded, though nothing elſe was ment but that he ſhoulde eſpye howe all things in the Scottiſhe campe ſtoode.
