Compare 1587 edition: 1 To encreaſe the fierce ſtomacks of the Scot|tiſh men agaynſt the enimies, he recounted vnto them what hee heard by credible report touching the menacing wordes and inſolent brags of the fame enimies, able to moue right quiet mindes vnto full indignation.

Compare 1587 edition: 1 Againe, to auoyde feare out of their heartes, which they might conceiue by reaſon of the mul|titude of their aduerſaries, hee rehearſed what a number of raſkals were amongſt them, without any ſkill of warrelike affayres, not taken vp by choyſe and election in appoynted muſters, but re|ſorting withoute difference togither, in hope of ſpoyle and bootyes, hauing not elſe wherevpon to liue at home in their countreys.
