Compare 1587 edition: 1 Indentures of agreement be|twixt Cumyn & Bruce to [...]|ching the cõ|ſpiracie.There were Indentures made betwene them, ſubſcribed wyth theyr names, and ſealed with theyr ſcales interchaungeably, for the full rati|fying of couenauntes agreed in thys confede|racie betwixte them.

Compare 1587 edition: 1 And ſhortely after vppon deliuerie of thoſe wrytings, Bruce wente into Englande, for he myght not remayne long in Scotlande, for doubte of ſuſpition, whiche kyng Edwarde had in hym, bicauſe of the title whiche he had to the Crowne of Scotlande, as before is ſpecifyed, inſo muche (as was thought) kyng Edwarde woulde haue put bothe hym and his brethern [...] vnto death long before, if he myght haue once got them all into his handes.
