Compare 1587 edition: 1 Herevpon when this Ballyoll had giuen hys fayth by aſſured othe vnto king Edward,The Ballyol promiſeth to do homage to king Edward. that he woulde doo homage vnto him for the realme of Scotlande, and acknowledge to holde the ſame of him as ſuperiour lorde, king Edwarde gaue ſentence with him, to haue moſte ryghte to the crowne and realme of Scotlande nowe thus in controuersſie.
