Compare 1587 edition: 1 In the .xlvj. yeare of this King Williams raigne, two Monkes of the Trinitie order were ſent into Scotlande by Pope Innocent, vnto whome King William gaue his Palace roy|all in Abirdene, to conuert the ſame into an Ab|bay for them to inhabite: and was in minde to haue gyuen them many other bountifull giftes, if he had liued any longer time.
