Compare 1587 edition: 1 King William after that the towne of Ber|tha was thus deſtroyed and ouerflowed wyth water,The towne of Perth buylded began the foundation of an other towne, which was after called Perth, by a man of that name that oughte the grounde where the ſame towne was buylded.
