Compare 1587 edition: 1 King William receyuing this anſwere from Malcolm,Open warre proclaymed by William Conquerour. Northumber|lande taketh out with K. Malcolme. proclaimed opẽ warre againſt Scot|land. In the meane time all Northumberlande tooke part with king Malcolme, for that he was their Earles ſiſters ſonne.
