Compare 1587 edition: 1 Alſo there haue come at ſundrie ſeaſons out of Fraunce diuerſe ſurnames into Scotlande as Fraſeir, Sinclare, Boſwell, Mowtray,Surnames of French men. Mount|gummery, Campbel, Boys, Betoun, or Betuin, Taillefer, and Bothwell, beſides ſundrie other whiche were but ſuperfluous to rehearſe at this tyme.
