Compare 1587 edition: 1 Thus whileſt Malcolme was buſied in ſet|ting orders amongſt his ſubiects, tydings came that one Lugtake ſurnamed the foole,Luktake. being ey|ther the ſonne, or as ſome write, the couſin of the late mentioned Makbeth, was conueyed wyth a great number of ſuch as had taken part with the ſayde Makbeth vnto Seone,Lugtake crow|ned at Scone. and there by their ſupport receyued the Crowne, as lawfull inhe|ritor thereto.

Compare 1587 edition: 1 To appeaſe this buſineſſe, was Makduffe Earle of Fife ſent with full commiſſion in the kings name,Lugtake is ſlaine. who encountering with Lugtake at a vyllage called Eſſen in Bogdale, ſlue him, and diſcomfited his whole power ordring the matter with them in ſuch wiſe, that afterwardes there was no more trouble attempted in that behalfe.
