Compare 1587 edition: 1 It was ordeyned alſo at this Parliament, that Barons which had liberties within thẽſel|ues,Gybets and draw welles. ſhould make gybbets whereon men that de|ſerued death ſhoulde ſuffer execution: and alſo draw Welles, wherein women that were con|demned ſhould be drowned, according to the or|der of the ciuill lawes vſed in Scotland.
