Compare 1587 edition: 1 Makduffe and Malcolme em|brace ech o|ther.Incontinently hereupon they embraced eche other, and promiſing to bee faythfull the one to the other, they fell in conſultation, howe they might beſt prouide for al their buſiineſſe, to bring the ſame to good effect.

Compare 1587 edition: 1 Soone after Makduffe repayring to the bor|ders of Scotlande,Makduffe wri|teth letters to his friends in Scotlande. addreſſed his letters with ſe|crete diſpatch vnto the nobles of the realme, de|claring howe Malcolme was confederate wyth him, to come haſtily into Scotlande to clayme the crowne, and therefore he requyred them, ſith he was right inheritor thereto, to aſſiſt him with their powers to recouer the ſame out of the hãds of the wrongfull vſurper.
