Compare 1587 edition: 1 But yet the ſame Cardinall not mynding to depart with emptie handes,The cleargy of Scotland ſom|moned by car|dinal Gualo to come to An|wike. ſummoned all the Prelates of Scotlande to appeare before him at Anwike, there to receyue theyr full abſolution, to the intent by ſuch meanes to trouble them, tyll they had diſburſed to his vſe ſome large portion of money.
