Compare 1587 edition: 1 Iuſtice mini|ſtred without reſpect of per|ſons.He cauſed to be ſlaine ſundry Thanes as of Eathnes, Sutherland, Stranauerne, and Ros, bicauſe through thẽ and their ſeditious attẽpts, much trouble dayly roſe in the realme.

To be briefe, ſuch were the woorthy doings and princely acts of this Mak|beth in the adminiſtration of the realme, that if he had attayned therevnto by rightfull meanes, and continued in vprightneſſe of iuſtice as he be|gan, till the ende of his reygne, he might well haue bene numbred amongſt the moſte noble princes that any where had reygned.
