Rufius Festus of Tridentum, once misidentified as Sextus Rufus, was the author c.370 of Breviarium rerum gestarum populi Romani, one of several brief accounts of the history of Rome produced in the second half of the fourth century. Numerous editions from ?1468 onwards.
